I’m a huge lover of apocalypse books and I really liked this series. But have you read his earlier novel Mary and O’Neil? Totally different subject matter, what I would call a quiet book about ordinary people having an ordinary life, but just beautifully written.

The first book was fantastic. I was disappointed in the second one and never read the third book.
The third one was good.
You should read the 3rd….better than #2; Cronin does a great job of bringing it all together
