Anywhere at all, standing, sitting, lying down, not fussed. I just need enough light and a good book! When I was a child I often used to read while walking too but do that less now.
At work, in a break, is great. I work in demolition, it’s hard and physical. Those 20 minutes are like escape. I can suddenly be somewhere else. Away from the aches and dirt, the repetitive physical exertion, the banality. Into a world of adventure. Into another person’s shoes. Their life. I love it?
I love reading outside but I really wish I could have like a tent sort of thing with a hammock inside & a chair with a foot stool because I’m scared of insects I freak out when I hear the buzz near my ears, I’m afraid of getting stung & mosquitos love me. -sigh-
Sounds like me…also on my couch, under my blanket, wirh a pillow on my lap for my book! My dog is just outside at the moment but she also lie next to me on the floor within scratching distance.

I’m actually very lucky, although the work is hard, the pay here in Australia is good, to some degree because of the strength of the union movement.

When I was growing up, my dad set up a hammock for me. That was my favorite place back home. We had huge shading trees. Sigh. Miss my home
I read wherever I am when I find the time but a hammock in the shade is the best.
