LOL!! Me too — I get on a paper kick occasionally, but several things about the Kindle just grab me back.

What do you like about it better than opening a book?

The books are available with one click buy! You do not need light to read. Ebooks are cheaper too. Just depends on what you want and like. I own 4 kindles

Being able to hold it easily in one hand, reading in a dark room, the highlighting and notes capability, portability, and borrowing from the library anywhere and anytime!

I forgot that one, Loy Lorraine Little! I switch font size as conditions require.

I much prefer physical books, but read on my kindle app, too. Mostly for books that are only printed as eBooks, though.

Don’t get me wrong, nothing beats the real thing. If I must own it, I’ll buy paperback!

No, I have to have the books! I have hundreds of them and no room for anything else! 🙂

None. I have only read one physical book this year – love making the font the type and size I want. – so easy on the eyes

That is why I switched. Some books have funny font and yellow paper.

No, I love my Kindle! I was reluctant at first, but it’s been well-worth it!! Perfect for traveling, reading at night, and there are such great deals on ebooks!!

I used to be the same way…the joy of going to the bookstore was unmatched. But, once I received an iPad for Christmas 5 years ago, I am a changed girl and I actually don’t like reading a normal book. I had my iPad for about a year before I realized that I could read in bed and not bother my husband with a light. When I purchase a book through iTunes, I get the page numbers and turn the page with my finger just like a book. Except now it tells me how many pages are in the chapter which is something I really got used to quickly and now I get frustrated when I read a book and have to count the pages. So I say try an e-reader…I used to swear I wouldn’t ever…

I have a kindle….but….I prefer a book. I love cruising thru used bookstores and finding prizes! Holding the book….you know?
I have books on kindle and read them but just not the same. I also had some issues with a few e books that had pages all out of wack. That was messed up!

Me!!! It just doesn’t feel right. I ordered a Kindle not long ago, they had a great deal on them on Amazon…I cancelled very shortly thereafter because I just really don’t think I would like it.

It’s nice sometimes…plus you can download games. I really tried to adapt and save space…but I can’t pass paper books. I do get a lot of free books on kindle tho.

You’re totally not alone! I tried borrowing my dads and i either got a headache or got easily distracted. Like couldn’t focus on the page and holding the book so just lost sense of what I was reading

The Paperwhite changed that for me. It’s not like a screen type at all.

I’ve heard that! There’s still that weird feeling of not holding an actual book and knowing how far into it you are lol
