Yeah, I just thought it was okay. His parents were so exaggeratedly unbelievable. It made zero sense they would adopt and then act like that and the disbelief I felt ruined the story. And I didn’t get engaged with the rest of it…what did not work for you?

The first 200 pages were ok. The last 300 were extraordinary. Stick with it!

Thanks all. I like and appreciate your comments. When I picked up the book at the library it is so big I was if it is worth the investment. I get large print edition and it 600pages. ? I’m into it and I think so far it is drawing me in
