Currently reading this x enjoying it so far x
I love that book ?
I read it. It was just ok. I’m not a big fan of the author. She chooses wonderful topics but fails to fully develop the plot. The end always feels rushed and has some gimmick.
@Neva couldn’t agree more, especially this book! I read just after The Hate U Give and was underwhelmed – Angie Thomas pulled this topic off far better!
I normally don’t read her books but this one I enjoyed and it has stayed with me.
Yes i enjoyed it. A good read

Yes I love some of her books and some are really on the lower end of good. I actually really liked small great things so we are all different ?
This one was my least favorite.
I enjoy ALL her books. Far from being ” easy reads”- but forever thought provoking! Please Enjoy!
didn’t think much of this until the last 3rd of the book
Not read this but Salem Falls, Nineteen Minutes and Plain Truth are all brilliant.

Good book . I enjoyed it
Liked her first few books, then either she went off or, more likely, I got tired of newspaper headlines being turned into novels.
Yes, I love this book.

Really good!
I really enjoyed this one and also the Storyteller.
Great book. Love most of her books
Brilliant book
I havent read Small Great Things yet, but I have read a few of her other books and I have liked them all. (so far :))
I loved it. Is well written and easy to read. It also, has a lot of social issues that she relates to them very well.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ok I am 100 pages in and the racism makes me nauseous, I don’t know if it’s for me. Thoughts?
@Lisa it’s the point of the book.
@Tamara I think I have been feeling overwhelmed with all the hatred in the world right now and have been hiding out in books. ❤️
i hear ya on the hatred. It’s awful
@Tamara maybe I should put this one aside for a bit.
@Lisa it has a very good ending, if you go through with it you probably won’t be disappointed
@Tanya I needed to hear that. Thank you. I like hope.
I got about 100 pages in, and stopped too. Racism was really tough for me as well
I know the racism is horrendous in this book, but that’s what got me so interested and amazed that this could go on. With the state of our Country right now I feel something like this could happen. That’s what kept me so mesmerized with the story. It could really happen in today’s world
Kymm L. Cummins unfotunately the book is loosely based off of an actual incident in Flint, Mi. Plus, racist words, actions and instances happen everyday.
It really made me think. I don’t look at a lot of people the same any more these days. Not because of this book. The book just validated some ugly truths
@Jennifer Didn’t know it was loosely based on a true story. Good to know, but also very sad
I loved this book
Awesome book. I like most of hers. She always focuses on some ethical dilemma. Makes you think.
An all time favourite – such a good story ♥
