I remember having a lot of issues with it, like more than it was full of tropes, I remember thinking some of the characters, probably the main love interest, was problematic. It’s been a while, but I did read them all bar the final book, Finale. So I mean they were…. you get sucked into them easily. But yeah, at the time and looking back there were problematic themes and attitudes. I couldn’t tell you what they are since I figured that out 3 years ago (read them in 2012) and can’t remember much of anything now..

I liked books 1-3. Book 4, Finale seemed pointless, though. Very YA so don’t know how I’d feel about them now. I still own them so maybe a reread later in the year is in order.

Classic 2000s YA. Loved the first book, but went down hill from there. Got very convoluted

So good! Writing is not very mature (in my opinion) but it’s something you will LOVE if you enjoyed Twilight in the slightest

I believe that was the book my friend described as, “How to be raped and murdered.” She thought the male romantic interest was the creepiest stalker she’d ever read (and, to be clear, she likes Twilight and doesn’t think Edward is a stalker at all).
