So which version of the ”truth” is real? The letter or the manuscript?

I think the manuscript is real. If it was just some weird writing technique, she could have told Jeremy about it. Also you’d have to be pretty crazy to pretend to be brain dead all that time. The letter was probably just one last crazy thing from Verity to mess with everyone. I don’t believe it one bit.

Also I’m a mother of two and I can’t see EVER writing the nasty things she did about Harper. Just days after she died! No way.

I have mixed feelings. I want to believe the letter bc no one can be that evil. But I sort of want the manuscript to be true bc it makes such a good villan

I’m not crazy about kids and am not a mother and even i cant imagine writing something like that about my own non existent kids! I get that not everyone is meant to be a mother and that some women never bond with their kids, but that sort of abuse is a whole different level. Especially the stuff about ignoring them all day while she sleeps. I am the opposite of anything maternal and even i felt sick reading that…

So you think that part was true and the letter was fake? Or that your manuscript was fake and the letter was true?
