I’ve never read all of them – Is it the same ending as the television series?

The ending felt like a big f-you to fans. I will never read another book by Harris because of that last book.

I felt like she got bored with writing them around #8 or #9. She just wanted to reach “spooky” #13. The series really went downhill.

I’m glad someone else feels this way. I was sooo upset I threw the book across the room. I LOVED the series until the last couple of books.

This series is one where I say the show is so much better. I read the entire series but the last few books it was like I was reading them just because I had read them up to that point and should end it. What really annoyed me was her summarizing what had happened in each previous book in the current book and taking up so many pages with that.

The last couple of books were so lame, but her need to squeeze in every character just so they could make an appearance was so annoying. And sookie was always causing a problem. Who could possibly want to deal with someone so annoying and problematic? I literally threw the book across the room I was so mad
