I just finished the first one and it was really good! I had just randomly picked it up and checked it out from the library but before that I had never heard of it.
You should read mortal instrument series too.. they both are connected towards the end! And it has no connection to Harry Potter! I am a huge fan of Harry Potter and mortal instruments they are nothing alike.. not even the characters!

Oh.. I love Cassandra Claire’s clockwork Angel series.. takes you in another time doesn’t it! And the characters are all so interesting, each one’s history so sad! And who wouldn’t love female warriors in that era! ?
Oh my gosh, I am in love with this series! I just read the whole series within the last month. I absolutely loved all 3 books! Finished Clockwork Princess the other day and was ugly crying so hard by the end of it, I could hardly see to finish reading the epilogue.
