I just read in my free time, once everything else is done! I work full time, getting my MBA and have 2 little boys. I still read 4 or 5 hours a day. But I really don’t need much sleep so I’m sure that’s why! Just finish your commitments first and then read after for as long as you’re able ?
Read during meals and for a bit before bed.
I listen to audiobooks during commutes, while getting ready, while I do dishes, etc
@Amanda i dont pay attention to audios
@Ashlee it takes a while but it’s worth it. I mostly listen to thrillers on audio so I get sucked into the mystery and suspense of it all. I keep my headphones in so I have no choice but to listen.
I read on my phone when I’m standing in line, in waiting rooms and right before bed.
I’ll be honest: I didn’t read recreationally through my bachelors. I read during the summer but otherwise, I was way too busy with all the required reading for my English degree. Now I find time to read by reading on my phone in the odd times like in line at Walmart or in the car wash ?
I usually set my schedule for the week on what days I’m doing what with my course work and read between those times and at night once I get my girls to bed.
I make myself read at least 20 pages before I go to bed every single night. But bring your book in your backpack and read during your free time while waiting for classes to start or whatever! Audiobooks are great while doing chores!
@Isabelle my classes are online 🙂
Even better!
Most of my reading is done at nighttime, bath time, and weekends lol
As a mum, I sacrifice sleep so I can read
I read on my phone while my 2 year old snuggles with me or falls asleep on me and listen to audio books on my commutes or while cleaning house. Now sometimes I do have to rewind the audios if I get sidetracked and pay attention to them better if I’m doing thoughtless work.
