The main difference is that if you use more than one library system and/or have more than library card, libby allows you to see all your borrowed books on the same page. With Overdrive you have to sign out of one account and log in with the other. My son and I have cards for two library systems. That is four library accounts in all. It’s nice to be able to see all the digital books we have borrowed on the same page. There are other differences as well.
I think you’re right. Anything you download in Overdrive you can listen to in Libby, you just can’t return it. I think they say Libby is a bit more user friendly.
