Yes, I ordered a set of used Harry Potter paperbacks from them for my 7 year old grandson a few years ago. They shipped them directly to him, postage free. They were in great condition at $3.95 each.

Yes! I got a rescued set of science encyclopedias from them for $10 years ago and a set of Childcraft Encyclopedia books for $20 too

I love the fact that they are a non for profit devoted to promoting literacy. I’ve probably ordered 70 books from them over the years, only a couple have been in truly rough shape. Good price for what you get

Yep! I ordered some old manga back volumes I was missing, filled nearly all my gaps! It also has free shipping to Canada which is why I prefer it to ThriftBooks 🙂

Yes. Also, my library sends older editions of books to them, which then get either resold, or sent to libraries that would not have access to academic books easily. Another great cause to support is Books for Africa.

I’ve used them a lot through Amazon and they’ve always been fine. I didn’t know the ethos behind them though and just thought they were an ordinary 2nd hand book company. I like them even better now.
