That’s the best part of having a Kindle – as long as you have your phone, a laptop, or a tablet, you can pick up right where you left off in the book!

As long as you’ve downloaded it already to the alternate reading format or currently have internet/WiFi access.

Yes, you need WiFi or cell service, but you didn’t have to have it previously downloaded.

I always have one in the car to read at appointments or any other time I have to wait. Usually go through a car book about every two months.

I used to do it but stopped after the pages of my book fell apart. It was a sunny day in summer. I had forgotten the temperature inside a car could get really high.

I had that happen once when I was at the museum I volunteer at. I actually looked so distraught that the staff hunted down a book in their collection so I wouldn’t suffer. (Not allowed phones at the front desk where I normally am – so Kindle app wouldn’t do me any good) ?

I took my book to my moms doc appt today but never got to open it, while we were checking out, I kept looking at it with the silent message, ‘tonite my friend, tonite we read’, lol. Gotta have it.

That’s why I’m always reading 2: one paper back and one on my phone. Forget one? No worries I have a backup.
