I really liked this book and felt it very thought provoking. It took the subject of people who feel like if they live by the rules, everything should turn out all right (very black and white). This book really brought forth that no matter where you’re from or what your belief system is, life throws stuff at you from a different angle. It’s like Izzy could never measure up because she didn’t fit the paradigm of her mother. This sort of thing happened all the time in that era. It probably still does. The ending? It did want me to read a sequel.
I thought this was very good in taking a difficult subject and showing the various viewpoints from different characters.
Loved it, wish there was a sequel.
How does this book compare to her first? Just as good?
Better in my opinion. More depth.
Very interesting ending

I think the author has a real way with family relationships.
Really good book.
