Yes it does get better! I don’t want to give any spoilers away but it’s slow at first but the last couple of chapters will keep you hooked

Not for me, I loved the first book, but this one was so bad…. ? And people who liked this, say that the 3rd one is bad… And I’m not even starting with what I’ve heard about the last one ? I really wanted to love these, the first hooked me so much… ?

@Brenda yeah, apparently the series seems to get down by eatch book ? But of course, there are people who have liked these, so it’s just how invested you are to the story, and what you like in books overall ?
But I made up my mind that I won’t find out ?

I haven’t given up yet, I’m one of those people who can’t start a new book before finishing the one/series I’m currently reading. *sigh*

@Brenda i used to be like that, now I dnf book/series a little bit easier, I have too many books to read, to waste my time on books I don’t enjoy ?

@Maria Same, I loved Red Queen and was so disappointed that its basically an open ended story for me since I’ll never finish them.

And I’ve gotten way more liberal with my DNFs too ? Life is too short to read lousy books haha

I ended up not finishing the series. The second one was hard. It did pick up a little bit was just meh for me. The third book was PAINFUL. I did end up finishing it though. I started the 4th in hopes that it would finish with a bang but just couldnt drag my self through it.

@Brenda think of the whole series like a movie. This is the part where to good guys are trying to think of what to do next while rallying allies
