It’s not terrible. I read it before the movies came out so I vaguely remember them. But the books are always better.
The film’s absolutely destroyed the book. The first movie was okay but the second movie strayed so far from the book its on another planet. The books were good I liked them
Honnestly, I loved the first book, but the second and the third were not that good at all in my opinion (especially le third). But we all have different taste, so you may like it !

The only ones I really enjoyed were book 1 and 5 (the second prequel). As a whole I liked the series bit the sequels definitely weren’t as strong. The movies were even worse though, they didn’t even make sense by the last one
I really enjoyed this series. Was brilliant and WAY better than the movies but, in my opinion they got the characters right.
