The story was enjoyable but on a boring technical note, I couldn’t figure out the POV in it. The narrator seemed occasionally omnipresent knowing stuff he couldn’t know. Killed it for me and I didn’t finish.
A definite marmite book! I’d read lots of reviews saying it was hard to get into but I finally picked it up and absolutely loved it from the 1st page. One of my favourite books that I read last year!
Read it as a Book Club book and when I saw the size of it thought “oh no” but I loved it and I think it was the first book that nearly everyone enjoyed. Will definately be reading the next.x
