I went through the same thing…and totally understand now when people say it won’t make sense until the end. Very true! It’s worth it!
I am on part two now and so confused.
I quit halfway through…I needed a break. I did finish it about a week later, (after reading Sharp Objects). Behind her eyes gets good, so take a break from it and read it to the end, its worth it.
It is really good and the ending does put all the pieces into place. But maybe a break from it will help for you to finish it
