The Breakdown by BA Paris, loved it. A great thriller without intense and unnecessary violence. White is for Witching, loved it. Ruth Ware is great. The Sawkill Girls was perfect.
I didn’t know anything about Louise Penny until I saw her on a morning news show, and so glad I checked her out because I have now read all the series, and received the newest one for Christmas! Such a wonderful heartwarming series.
The Hate You Give, The first 2 books in the Crazy Rich Asians series, and anything by Kristin Hannah. I loved the Nightengale and read a bunch of her other books this year. They were all amazing.
@Barbara I really enjoyed The Language of Flowers. I was reading at my volunteer “job” in front of the computer and kept googling the flowers as she mentioned them so they were my view.

@Brooke I’m surprised this group hasn’t talked about that one more. It was one of my favorite books this year, too.
It was beautifully written and fascinating to have it told from the point of view of a child.
Even though the subject matter was difficult, I devoured the book.
