That’s why you need to keep a huge pile to TBR stack. That when reading slump comes, you just pick each book and read one or two page until you finish the whole night or find some book you want to read. 😀

Anything by Diane Chamberlain always gets me out of my reading funks. Particularly recommend either Dream Daughter, The Stolen Marriage, or The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes.

Tonight I am in transition. I just finished The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins and now it’s time to go to bed and read some. 🙁 Pick up one I’ve already started? Try a new books from my TBR pile? Decisions decisions!

I don’t know about only one favorite, but I loved March by Geraldine Brooks.

If you like horror/mystery try James Herbert’s “The Fog” (nothing to do with the movie The Fog) or “Lair”

Re-read one of your old time favorites. That’s what got me out of a reading slump. After it, I was ready to read a book without falling asleep after 5 pages. I than turned to the pile of unfinished books, and reading a lot since.
