If you like Nicholas Sparks, try Nicholas Evans. I agree with Nora Roberts for romantic suspense, and add Tami Hoag (Cry Wolf, A Thin Dark Line, and Lucky’s Lady; some of her suspense has no romance, if that’s your preference). I’ve heard Sharon Sala and Cindy Gerard are great, but I haven’t read them. Yet.
