I have read lots of his books, but in recent years it seems that his writing has deteriorated, or his books are written by someone else. Perhaps he is just publishing too many books each year to keep up with quality writing.
Yes Lise, I agree with you. . I am also a huge fan but I can’t seem to get through recent Alex Cross novels….thought it had to with me. The books that are co-authored are never quite as good but enjoyable.
I am not a fan,find them disturbing,although there is one exception….Loved ‘Susanna’s Diary for Nichcolas’. Have yet to read other romance novels his written apart from this….
That one he wrote that was based on a true story I did not like but read all of it !!! It was about a rich dude that liked to have sex with high school girls ! He paid other high school girls to find him more girls and paid them all !!! Did not like !!!
Was in a wholesale house today. Think Patterson has a new book out. (I didn’t read the title/ oh wait, didn’t memorize it.) Was checking on my favorite Clive Cussler and they had his new one Nighthawk. Plus 3 others. Still working on his older ones and can get them from http://thriftbooks.com/

His books ARE written by someone else. Look at your covers. He only writes the general outline for the book, and his co-author really writes the book.
