I dog ear books if they belong to me. I think everyone should be respectful of books that don’t belong to them, and treat them with the utmost care. But if they’re yours, have at it. I have friends that don’t consider their books well loved until they’ve spilled food or drinks on them. To each his own. It’s all about preference. Doesn’t make one right and the other wrong, it’s just more proof of our individuality. And THAT is a beautiful thing. ?

Exactly!! I’ve been shamed because I dof ear, but I only read books I own. I want them to have signs that they were loved, signs where i paused whether because i was overwhelmed with emotions or fell asleep.

I don’t because I did in my favorite book and it literally ended up with corners falling out of it. So nope nope.
