@Cathy Jacksonville Beach, FL. The pic was in JaxBeach, but technically I live in Jacksonville itself- the largest city by land area in the country. But i live closer to JaxBeach than to downtown – JaxBeach is one end of my “neighborhood”. (The other being a major major retail area about the same distance in the opposite direction.)

Here in NSW Australia ..So very hot .. heat is terrible .. horrific fires so much heart ache for so many ..Then up in Queesland floods equally devastating ….
I’m looking forward to our winter a few months away yet …, for relive from heat and a good book or two glass of cheer …. or two …. ?

That spuds so cozy!! It’s going to reach around 78 degrees here in rainy Florida today. Mostly rain today and thunderstorms on and off.
It isn’t snowing here in MA today but the temperatures have dipped from the 60 we hit last week to 30’s and we are supposed to get some wintry mix stuff tuesday night into wed morning

@Connie, it has been snowing for 4 hours and supposed to last all day and then again Tuesday. Are you tired of winter as I am?

No snow, but yesterday in South Texas it was 38 degrees and dreary and drizzly. The best place to be was under a throw on my couch, reading Clove Blue by @Eldonna. 🙂

All we have here are what they call Florida snow, purple flowers that are a weed but are disappearing. I was actually at an outdoor concert last night. I am reading your book but slowly.

No snow where I am, but I have to admit when you mentioned snow yesterday, I realized that I do miss the occasional snow day – when Mother Nature gives you an excuse to not go and do.
I’m always reading but we have sunshine and no snow at the moment. Supposedly that’s coming Tuesday-ugh!

Light snow (maybe 1 inch) expected this afternoon. Right now we’re under the permacloud just like most winter days. Reading and loving The Girls at 17 Swann Street.
No snow here in Jersey yesterday or today, but tomorrow we’re expecting light snow in the morning, and Tuesday we’re expecting snow, ice and then turning into rain. I finished Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating in two days, and now I’ve started The Girl He Used to Know.

I just finished this really great book…The Man She Married. I’m wondering — how much of the author is in the protagonist? LOVED the book, by the way — heartily recommend it. Don’t read while you are working however; hard to put down.

I’m reading a good book, but it’s not snowing here in central Texas. We had thundersleet and graupel on Friday, though. Graupel was a new word for most of us around here.
Not snowing currently thank goodness. But there’s plenty of snow on the ground. I have some snow banks that are over 6’ high. MI’s Upper Peninsula. Where winter lasts for at least six months. ?

@Cathy I love Oregon ❤️ my parents grew up in the wilammette valley area and left with the military at young ages to never return other than visits. To this day, rainy weather makes my mom happy- now living in sunny San Antonio
