But don’t you think that writing in earlier days if we go back in 1980-1990 , were something that most of us loved

. …

Maggie

Yes. But I also do a lot of digital photography, I love writing my stories around my photos, and o can type much faster than I can write. I share it with friends. Except the personal entries. I find the digital blog more liberating than paper these days 🙂

Maggie

It’s on LiveJournal, you’d need to create an account. It’s not very interesting 😀 mainly animal stuff 🙂

It’s not that you should write it every single day . What really matters is that you write your feeling’s And your personal thoughts ,when the others were not on your side when you most needed them ??

1
Cestiana

Yeah. Haha. My personal feelings are also in it.

0

One doesn’t have to write in their diary/journal everyday. That’s an arbitrary rule. There are days when nothing happen, you have nothing to write about, and may not be up to it because other things preoccupy your mind and time. I don’t write in mine everyday, but I make it a goal to at least write a few entries a month. And if one saw how long they get, it’s almost like I did write every single day.

I do not daily but frequently. I also have a rant journal which is fill of randomness of whatever pops in my mind at any given time.

Our main reason for writing is for the very same reason that whatever comes into our mind – we put it on our paper as a part of our memory ???

2
Tiffany

Yep. My outlet many times a day

I journal, do a one line a day, write poetry, prayers, plans. Though I haven’t been able to write for weeks (except in my one line a day with my left hand) and have had to log it on my phone. So not the same thing.

In my youth I kept a journal at least once a week, and I prize those writings now as precious glimpses into the inner workings of the little weirdo I once was.?? I now have a problem forcing myself to “journalize” more than once every few months. It’s exasperating. Yet it’s also well worth the effort–I recently re-read one of my college journals and was absolutely blown away by what I’d forgotten, and what I was feeling, back then. In short, don’t underestimate the importance of journal-keeping–life is just more valuable when you’re able to look back on it and apply those old stories to what you’re living now.

I used to write in my journal EVERY day when I was in high school. I had depression and it was my way to escape the world. I swear, if I didn’t write in that journal, I don’t know if I would have been alive today.

Nowadays, I write for pleasure and instead of in a book, I write in online journals like http://penzu.com/ I still have a book if I want to be ultra private though.

do you mean how many losers are here? we write a diary when we have nothing else to write.

0
Reply
BaleshwarQuestion author

Well, that’s your universal thought that whoever is looser- only he/she can write a personal diary.
..
I’ll say that a dairy is something which you store your memories and when you’ll become old OR will look back for a certain time , then you will say that “” yeah, I remember that. I was there sitting and enjoying myself with my close buddies “” and that happiness will be your greatest treasure
.
???
