Holy bologna!

0
Jeff

Trying to hit 156. At the beginning of the month, I still had something like 50 books left to get to that number and had to average one book every two ish days. *Think* I’m in front of that curve at the moment. In the middle of an eight book series right now (starting book 3) that I’m trying to finish before the end of the month. 2200+ pages total.

Otienoh

Astaghfirullah!

Jeff

68 days for 34 books. Crap. I’m not as ahead of the curve as I thought. 🙁

Prisca

Bro you just made me feel like I’m not a bookworm. I don’t deserve that title????

0
Jeff

@Prisca lol. I happen to have an easy job that pays very well. I also have no kids and no life outside my home. And I don’t watch much TV or even play many video games right now. I’ve had other years where I played games more/ watched more TV where I struggled to read even half of what I have so far this year.

0
Jeff

And I have (retired, mostly) friends that have read more than double what *I* have 😀

I see.

0

But thanks…I know I need to get better about documentation.

0
Kara

I don’t think so. I think if you forget to update it, documentation isn’t important to you. I don’t think you should waste your time doing things not important to you.

I think the important thing is that you enjoy all the books you have read. The number of pages of the book you read is different.

I’ll find out my total on New Year’s Day. Every time I finish a book, I put a dollar in my book bank. On New Year’s Day I count it up and take a field trip to the book store. No peeking beforehand ??

About 46 (although I think the number might include one or two I started but didn’t finish), and soon halfway through another one. I hope to get to 50, but I also plan on reading a really super duper fat one in November (I won’t be able to join NaNoWriMo this year, so I think I’m going to be reading a book on writing instead.)

Definitely. It makes me happy. I did recently sit down and figure out how long it will take me to read my TBR. That was a mistake. I would need to live 500+ years to read them all.
