For me it all depends on length. If they’re 400 pgs or shorter, I can read 4-6 But I’ve been known to take a month to read just one, Pillars of the Earth.

1

Susan

Why do you limit yourself?

2
Kamarul

Apart from language barrier, I am more to relax approach. I wanna marathon movie, I watch movie then. Days without reading for a couple of days, why not? ..I’ll get back on track before you know it…stuff like that.

2
Susan

@Kamarul I understand. I think my husband would like me to limit myself so maybe I would spend more time doing housework! ?

1
Kamarul

@Susan you could resume reading after that

I’m curious… do you keep track of what you read and rate them? What genres do you read? Tell me EVERYTHING! ?

0
Raven

I read mostly romance… I’m unemployed right now due to mental issue that involves high anxiety reading is the only thing that can keep me calm so I have a lot of time on my hands and the most of the speed reader which is how I get through so many books I also have sort of a photographic memory so pretty much any book I’ve read I remember and I’m very picky about my books so I try not to rate them I can be tough lol

0
Raven

And I’m don’t like misprints lmao like the one up above where it says most of instead of kind of

0
JL

Ha! I hear ya. I was down for most of the past two years dealing with spine problems and surgeries, and my anxiety went haywire. Reading saved me! 🙂
I haven’t read romance in a while, i got burnt out, but I’ve been thinking about re reading Janet Chapman and Kinley MacGregor. I recently discovered Marian(a?) Zapata and liked most of hers.

0
Raven

They’re all good but I like Lyndsey Sands the most

0

I think i still have all her books! She’s funny.
