I used to read about a book every day before I got a computer & a smart phone with Facebook. Ha ha! Now I read a book in about 5 days or sometimes a little more. I used to smoke too, & I’d take my book outside with me when I went out to smoke. I’m glad I don’t smoke any more, but I definitely read more back then. 🙂
I read about 100 pages an hour (average) usually 1 night or two nights . I’m reading the borders trilogy just now that is over 1000 pages so that might take me a 5-7 days
A week if I’m lucky, kids and life and all. I can read a book in a day if I had the time…but I don’t and that’s ok. Sometimes I exchange my reading times to play video games with my sons…and I usually don’t read when my husband is off so…yeah. I’m in no rush either
“Average size book” is about the same as “average size man”. You have your 90 pounders, and your 1500 pounders. Let’s say “average “ is 300 pages. Depending on writing style, about 3hours. Lots of variables to throw in the mix.
I hardly ever read more than 100 pages a day, so I’ll likely read a 300 page book in 3 days, a 400 page book in 4 days, and so on. With bigger books I usually slack a little, so I’ll take more than a week to finish a 500 page book
300 page book – one sitting to two days. 600 page book – 2 days to a week
Depends on how it’s laid out. If it’s spaced out really well, like Queen of Hearts by Colleen Oakes then one sitting I’m done. It’s 309 pages I think and that took under two hours.
If it’s regular don’t, 300 pages, 3-4 hours. Depending on free time that’s a day or two.
But if it’s like Game of Thrones and it’s super packed pages and small font and stuff it’s definitely taking longer.
I usually finish a normal length book in 2-3 days if I’m spending my evenings reading vs watching tv. It all depends on how addictive the book is and if I’m reading every free moment I have available as I sometimes do with certain books.
Define “average”. ??
I read an average of 100 pages in an hour, depending on print size, font, reading level, etc.
in less than a day.

I agree – I spend way too much time on phone/computer.

I’m a slow reader…. @350 pages…takes me about 3-4 days
less than half a day… I timed it when the last 4 Harry Potter books came out… read them in 5-6 hours apiece. I devour books 😛
If I can sit down and read and I don’t get distracted by shiny I can read on average 100 Pages an hour
Few hours
300 words per minute so it depends what kind of book I read and how long I read everyday. Some books I finish within hours some a day some 2 to 3 days
The size of the book shouldn’t mattee, surely it’s the length of the book that determines how long it takes to read it? ?

About two days.
It depends on how much it pulls me in/ grabs my attention. It could be 2 days to 1 week. Some books 1 day depending on the amount of pages.
About 60 pages an hour but it does depend on the quality of the book. Older English takes longer
Depends on school usually.
I try to read a book a day!! But at times ends up being 2 days to a week depending on what’s going on that day
Depends on how much work I have to do
Couple of days on a beach holiday doing little else ?+☀️+?+?=❤️
Usually a week to maybe 2, if i listen to it, usually 4 days to a week depending on my schedule
5-6 hours of it’s on the smaller size but usually within a day. I like to read in one sitting.
Reading – a day. Writing – a month ?
“Average size book” is about the same as “average size man”.

Normally it takes me like three months
3 weeks
About a week. I don’t rush and just enjoy the experience
Normally about a week… but all depends on what life throws at me.
One week
300-400 pages usually takes me 2-4 days.
1 or 2 weeks
3 to 5 days
Well average for me is around 300-350, if I’m really into the book, I could read it in 1-2 days, if I’m not as into it, maybe 4-5 days instead.
It so much depends on what else is going on. On average, I would say 3 days, but it can take a week.

A few hours
I’m a very slow reader and I don’t have time read lol. So unless it’s an audio Any book will take me at least a week minimum
Reading, four days. Writing it, a year.

1-2 days
About an hour to an hour and a half.
Usually 2-3 days with the normal interruptions. But without interruptions, sometimes it only takes a day.

A day to two days, depending on the level of writing.
