I’ve been reading a lot of that kind of narration lately and not just YA. It’s in a lot of NA romances. I’m honestly iffy about it. I want a clear indication of narrator change and I don’t want the writing change too much due to character change.

I love it when books do that. Especially in the Three Dark Crowns book, because it’s about 3 sisters and only 1 can be crowned queen. So it was hard to side with a particular Queen. It was an OwlCrate Book last year

I love the switches. Makes the book go faster and I love different view pints

I think this one only does Gwen and hook and I’m really curious about hooks motivations.

Honestly? I don’t mind it unless I’ve had quite a bit of wine and then I start getting confused ?

I like the switching! Knowing the characters thoughts, etc.

I love when books switch narratives because it gives me different views of the same story but I also love when a book is completely one persons point of view.

It totally depends. If it’s done because it helps the story be told better, I don’t mind, but sometimes I feel like it’s unnecessary or lazy and it would be better from one POV.

I like it as long as there are only about 4 people at the VERY most. My favorite is 2 people. I used to not really think I liked it at all, until I read David Edding’s Belgariad, and the first book “Pawn of Prophecy” was only written from the young boy’s point of view. There were all these other cool characters that I wanted to experience. So yeah, it definitely helps to have at least two sides of the story.

I love having changes of view. I think you get more of the story depth that way
