Audiobooks…while I exercise, drive, cook, clean, shower (waterproof speaker in shower)!

@Katie I pay for Audible, but I mostly use Overdrive thru my library and borrow them for free.
Audio books help alot. I listen when im driving, shopping,working out getting ready for work etc. I read physical or ebooks the most on my days off after errands and cleaning are done

Nope Audiobooks are too expensive for me. I use Libby, hoopla and cloud library. You connect your library card and its free. I cant recommend them enough!
There Overdrive too but Libby is like the updated version of it and i find it more usable. You can also send ebooks to your kindle for free too and hoopla has movies and tv shows you can watch on your phone or smart tv
@Ashley Libby to me is more user friendly. I couldn’t figure out Overdrive the one time I tried.

@Katie im not sure. Possibly. If it is maybe there is an alternative for wherever you live. It wouldnt hurt to ask your library

Audio books when I’m alone and e-books the rest of the time. I read on my phone in line at Costco, while my daughter does karate, on my lunch break, etc etc

@Katie I’m sure it varies greatly but but our county library system has a website dedicated to the electric options we can rent. Every best-seller of the last couple of years I’ve downloaded this way.
I do 12 hour shift work so I read during my breaks, and listen to the same book Im reading on the commute to and from work. When home, I often take the kids to the park just so they play while I read a chapter or two, its win/win!
And sometimes I have to make a conscious effort to read because TV and social media have a strong hold on me if I let it.
@Kristy im the same with my phone, hate when a notification flashes on my phone so i always have to clear it

Wish I could use audiobooks! (I’m Deaf) but I use Overdrive or Libby to read on my tablet or phone but prefer actual books and usually read in the early afternoons or late evening and usually drinking coffee or tea lol
I listen to audiobooks while doing mundane tasks when I find I don’t have time to sit and read.
I mostly read on my train rides into work, and when I get home if have nothing to do. I’m not able to read before bed bc ya girl is tired, and I can’t concentrate on audiobooks ?
