@Jennifer good reads is owned by amazon.. if you have Kindle it will sync .. another benefit is you can join any genre and know the details of the books . And add them to your TBR

I don’t. At my age it doesn’t matter if I read the same book twice. I don’t remember how it ended anyway!

I used to type out a list on my computer that was 4-5 pages long. My TBR. About three years ago I just said screw it, and stopped keeping track.

I never keep track. I finished doing written assignments when I completed my masters degree. I read what I want when I want to for my own pleasure. I never understood why people keep a detailed log of what they read for pleasure. To each his own.

@Linda I do so I don’t wait a year and start a book only to think “this sounds really familiar”. LOL

Same as me @Lina-Myree. I must admit I’m an Excel Spreadsheet fanatic 😮 my spreadsheet has a list of books by specific authors whose books I’ve read with notes whether I’ve read it, got it, or looking for it. A page for the authors whose books have all been read, a page for books I’ve read (so I don’t forget I’ve already read them) and a page with an alphabetical list of all the authors I like or who I want to read. I don’t know if I’m a sad person or just anal about my books!! ???

@Eileen thats pretty similar to what i do myself, im not that much of an expert at excel though so im having to improve my skills to help with it

0
Eileen

I’m shocking about using it – I’m no expert, but I can produce them and work out calculations and I do it for everything! I have loads of them on my laptop for every part of my life 😮 😮

Nicole

I’m currently just using it to organise my books by author and alphabetically whilst also keeping an organised list of books i want, i find its useful because then i can work out how many ive bought and read ect but i still use paper recording too just incase aha

I don’t but am going to have to start because I purchased a book yesterday that I had already read ?

Eileen

That’s what happened to me too – since I retired I’ve had more time to read and to buy books and I’ve bought too many books because I like the synopsis on the back only to get home and find it was already on my bookcase. So really to avoid this duplication I had to keepl a list 🙁
