It’s one of the few books of his I couldn’t get into.
It’s a few years since I read it. Enjoyed it.
I don”t know about that book, but his new one, “The Whistler” got terrible reviews.
Nothing like his legal books, growing up in the south, no conflicts
But is it worth a buy and worth a read?
I liked it but got it from the library
Okay… I mean is it gripping like making you turn the pages ??
No , most coming of age stories have conflict but I remember this as nostalgic.
I’m usually a Grisham fan, but not this one! Try as I might I couldn’t get into it.
