@Lori problem with divergent is ive seen the films. I hate reading books after seeing films. Struggling with the hobbit at the moment as I’ve seen the films first

Ryanne Jessica I loved the books but hated how it ended. So abrupt I thought it wasn’t real

@Maria the movies of divergent were not good. The first was ok. And they changed the entire ending. Books are way better

JG Ballard’s short stories. They’re sometimes more speculative than dystopian, but they’re excellent.

I don’t read or like Dystopian books ..however I love the movies..just watched Ready Player One this afternoon and loved the visuals! Maybe I need to give the books a try. Sometimes too many characters..layers..times..boogle my mind. I usually prefer 1 straight story and no more than 2 time zones..eras..

I am sure the Divergent series has already been mentioned, but it’s good. The Handmaid’s Tale. Red Clocks by Leni Zumas is defintely a dystopian novel but not like the others I’ve listed. It’s a really good book though.
