I don’t have a book recommendation, but be sure to check out the “New Mutants” movie when it comes out. 🙂

I don’t remember well enough, but I think she’s too young for Lonely Werewolf Girl. Maybe someone else can confirm that?

Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. Female werewolf. Loved it! There’s also quite a few books in the series.

I want to read these, they look good! Do you think they are okay for my daughter to read?

@Jaci I would try the first one. I can’t remember, but I don’t think its full of sex or bad language. But I’m also not a mom. What I think is appropriate may not be.

Lol, same. I really love it tho! I won her mystery box a few years back with a bunch of Otherworld swag and it was/is hands down best contest I’ve ever won lol.
I just read her new Rough Justice novella for her Cainsville series and it was really good. If you enjoyed the Otherworld series you’d def enjoy the Cainsville one

Also Kelley Armstrong Darkest Powers series. The main is a necromancer but the second main character is a werewolf and it focuses a lot on him and its YA and MG age appropriate ?

Second Dresden Files instalment by Jim Butcher, FOOL MOON. It can be read independently. If she likes it, then she can pick up the first. The female werewolf is not the main character, but is the second most significant character in this book and the story is centred around her. I’d rate the book PG for some violence.

A few years back I read a book about a young girl (maybe around 12yo?) Who discovered she was a werewolf called Golden Mane: Book One of the Adventures of Sarak Coppernick by SJB Gilmore. I recall it being an easy enough and kid-friendly read, however, I don’t think there is a print version. I believe it is only sold as an Amazon Kindle ebook.
