My boys are loving The Unwanteds series right now so I decided to start reading the first book. The description is Hinger Games meets Harry Potter. I’m only on chapter 2 so we’ll see ?

Definitely Percy Jackson.. my son started reading Percy Jackson when he was 10 and now, 3 years later, Rick Riordan is his favorite author and will purchase any book he writes. Also, he has inspired a love for Greek Mythology that my son loves to talk about ?

Wyatt Watkins and the Adder Stone was great. My 11 year old nephew devoured it! https://www.amazon.com/Wyatt-Watkins-Adder-Stones-Book-ebook/dp/B00WT8YBYW/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1507645563&sr=8-7&keywords=kate+callahan

Narnia. My 9 year old is attempting The Hobbit.

Garth Nix’s series that the name escapes me but starts with Mister Monday (might be Keys to the Kingdom…?).

Can’t remember the author but A Snicker of Magic.
