Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue is one of my all time favorites, as well as its sequel, Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy. Mackenzi Lee is MAGICAL.

And my lightning round of recent favorites: One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus; The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert; Warcross by Marie Lu; Dread Nation by Justina Ireland; All American Boys and The Long Way Down, both by Jason Reynolds; Blood Water Paint by Joy McCullough; History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera; and The Diviners series by Libba Bray

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. TW: deals with sexual assault. I love her books and feel like she doesn’t get the love she deserves. They recently released a graphic novel version of Speak that is awesome, but I would definitely read the original first ?
