JadeQuestion author

I only have 2 pre-orders hence the post, looking for some for next yr

0
Monique

@Jade Good luck going through the list.. I hope you find some awesome reads! I usually look through goodreads list like ‘Most anticipated YA 2019’ and look what people vote for. I hope you find some! Most on my list are sequels though, Romanov, Semper Augustus, Slayer, Loki and Phoenix are first books/standalones ?

Lissa

@Monique I like your taste in books!

1
Monique

Thanks! ?

0
Lissa

@Monique you’re welcome. Also I had ARCs of two of those, and you won’t be disappointed!

0
Monique

@Lissa Oooh how awesome!!! Can I ask which ones? ??

0
Lissa

@Monique I’ve read Imprison the Sky which was amazing! And Slayer, which is what the new Buffy show really should be. 🙂

0
Monique

@Lissa ooooh wow! I’m really happy you liked Imprison the Sky – I loved Reign the Earth but I wasn’t sure about the change of POV in the second book… and yay for Slayer!! It sounds so good!!! And I love the original series!! Didn’t know there was a new show though ?

0
Lissa

@Monique yes, I was a little confused initially by the different POV, but she is such a fabulous character!

Monique

@Lissa Hmmm I am a bit excited about it but it probably wont be nearly as good as the original ?

1
Lissa

@Monique I am skeptical, but mostly because the original announcement said remake not sequel (and the internet rebelled). Plus after the crappiness that is the Charmed remake. But if they did the story in Slayer it would be fabulous.
