Haven’t read it myself, but several of my friends LOVE it, and they’ve turned me on to many other authors that I *have* enjoyed, so I tend to think it is likely pretty decent.
It’s extremely captivating. Wouldn’t bore you for a moment. It’s a must read in Sci-Fi, if you ask me. This book made me think about a few things and the consequences of choice we make. If you haven’t, read iittt
