honestly no! I’ve gotten really lucky with all the books I have had to read so far!! I probably just jinxed myself though!!
The grisha series.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn has been put down more times than I can count. It is my aunt’s favorite book, so I’m trying to finish it, but I don’t care for the characters.
I had a hard time finishing Seven Black Diamonds. It was like pulling teeth, but I finished it.
Not this year, but 1q84 was sooooo hard to finish
To Kill a Mockingbird……
I hear you. I was forced to read it in 8 grade & it was ok. But I couldn’t get why it was so great.
The Devil in the White City. All my friends raved about it but I just can’t get into it.
The BFG by Roald Dahl. Some of the dialogue used by the BFG is hard to get my head around, reading something else alongside it so that makes it easier 🙂
As I lay dying. Its a popular work by Faulkner but I can’t seem to enjoy the style of writing ):
I had to read that for my AP Lang class and the plot itself isn’t bad but the writing style makes it impossible to understand.
Heartless
I tried re-reading Six of Crows, but I just couldn’t :/ I had trouble getting through the first time as well
Heartless and Wayfarer. I was so excited about both but I think the excitement has made me not want to get into them. Barely 20 pages into either of them.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I am hoping I can finish it before the TV series starts.
