Here’s a question for you… if you were only allowed to read ONE book/series for the rest of your life what would it be and why?

Discworld. I’ve never read it but it’s fantasy, and highly acclaimed so I’ll probably love it. And it’s mega long so it’ll keep me occupied for a long time!
Excellent choice! My family bought me that for Christmas but I have yet to read it. I’ve had lots of library books and on holds to get through. ? The series is about 16 books long is it? Well that’s how many I currently have!
That is an excellent choice.
@Shelley id love to know your thoughts when you get round to them! Goodreads says there’s 40!
Blimey! I better start them soon then ?
J D Robb’s ‘In Death’ series as there are over 40 books so far.
Wow! You certainly wouldn’t run out anytime soon! When is the next one released?
Book no. 46 is due Jan 2018.
Excellent! Are they still as good as when they first started? I’m yet to start this series you see
I’ve read around 30 of them so far and from what I can remember (it’s been a while since I read them), I was still enjoying them.
@Gayle excellent! I love things that can hold my attention!
Love this series.
Absolutely love this series!
The Anne of green gables series probably. I’ve loved it since I was a child. She’s just such a great character ???
Excellent. If I had to pick one from my childhood it would have to be the Roald Dahl collection!
Ooh, I loved them too! ?
Matilda is still one of my all time favourite books!
I agree with you Emily ?
I absolutely adored these books! Fabulous choice! ?
The Lord of the Rings because it’s my favorite book: I love it.
I’ve read this series before I watched the films and I’m so glad I did. Good choice!
My would be The Babysitters Club. I grew up read them books and I had all of them.
Is that based on the tv series? I’m remember watching it when I was younger. Never read the books though I have to say
Yes
Will see if I can get them or ask for them as a gift. Since starting this site my TBR list is through the roof!! ?
The Narnia Chronicles by C.S.Lewis, They are merely enchanting.
I loved this!! Enjoy ?
What did you like most about this series and which book and why? @Shelley
It going to sound cliche but I love the first one because it just transports me to another world!!
Me too ?
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy a trilogy in 5 parts.
Excellent! I love series. ?
I would have to say either Nora Roberts or Mary Higgins Clark. I love them both and they both have written so many!

I hope you enjoy them. I have her whole collection.
Do you know if you can get them all on kindle please?
You can check on Amazon. I am sure they do. You can also check with your local library. I know some libraries have books you can down load onto your kindle.
Ok thank you very much!
Nothing for me i,m to curious i wanna know what other books can give me. Wanna travel in my mind so just one book isn,t enough.
Fair enough
Either the Anne of Green Gables Series of Little House on the Prairie Series ❤️
Oh I remember reading the Prarie series when I was a child – loved it!
Ooh a tough one! Harry Potter or Discworld. I reread them constantly anyway, I love them.
I love Harry Potter too, that would be mine ?
This is one of the most difficult questions for a reader. However, It will always be Harry Potter for me. I read and reread a lot of amazing books but somehow it’s difficult imagining life without HP.
That is seriously one of the most difficult questions. Probably Harry Potter or The Dresden Files. Love both and reread both often.
