Well there are a ton of differing latent styles out there but a book I loved was The Whole Brained Child. It focuses more on how the brain works and develops rather than parenting style opinions. It also sheds some light on how your brain functions. Very good read.

I was subbing last week and a teacher told me about this. I’ve not read it but bought a copy for my daughter.
Parenting with Love and Logic. It changed my life. And brought peace to our home. Quick read. I recommend to all parents (I’m a teacher).
I plus the love and logic series. I was very versed in positive parenting and that is your best go to. I’m a teacher too.
Simplicity Parenting. As a teacher, I did a book study on it with all the parents in my class. Very positive response from them.
I found ‘How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk’ very helpful.
Not a parenting book, but I think every parent should read To Kill a Mockingbird
