Oh God, I absolutely hated it. ?
Why?
The plot was bad.
I don’t like it. I read all three to see it through but I had major issues with the world building snd dialogue. You can apparently walk across this whole continent in a couple days. I also hated the dialogue and I think it’s weird when a fictional, fantastical world uses common slang. I wouldn’t recommend. A lot of character decision making seemed really forced also and it just wasn’t my favorite.
I really liked it 4/5 stars ⭐️
The average on Goodreads is 3.88
I liked it but I warn that it’s super short. I read like a book of the trilogy every day and it sort of felt like all three of the books could have been one bigger book ?
It was an okay read. I’ve read 2/3 books. But haven’t felt motivated to read the third because honestly it’s not that great a plot overall. I’m not sure it’s worth delving into. There’s better stuff out there.
