I’m a little biased since I run it but the LitLoveBox, part of the LitLoveShop has one that features indie authors and lots of fun items and themes coming up!

@Kaitlin yep! We have the monthly boxes – you can do a subscription or single purchase any of the previous boxes we have left, (all new subscriptions will start with the sept. Box until the 15th which will start the October boxes!) and we have a “market” which has shirts, mugs, etc!

I’ve tried many (once upon a book box, owlcrate, uppercase, second star, unplugged, illumicrate) my favorites are: second star (although they just changed the format to their boxes) owlcrate, unplugged (this one only has one box out they launched in sept)

No I dont subscribe, I think they are are great idea but Im trying to minimize the amount of junk I keep in my house & you do get a lot of random stuff you might not really want.
I’ve been subscribed to LitJoy for the last 5-6 months and every box I’ve gotten has been so good. ?
If you don’t mind me asking what all comes in these boxes usually just so I can see what all I’d use and like ?
Owlcrate is my absolute favorite!
Plus they care/do so much to make everyone of their customers happy.
I’ve tried others, but this box is definitely my favorite.

Always a new YA book release, with a signed book plate. They normally have a exclusive book cover, with sprayed pages.
It also has an authors letter about the book.
With 4-5 bookish items.

@Kaitlin The four that I usually get come with a new release hardback book usually signed by the author or with a signed bookplate. The other things in the boxes vary from month to month. I’ve gotten bookmarks, woodmarks, pillow cases, socks, scarves, mugs, I got a beach towel in an Owlcrate box once, Litjoy sent out a bluetooth speaker once, you can get soaps, candles, art prints, enamel pins, fairy lights, lip balm, bath bombs, wallets, pens, and sometimes tapestires. Also you can get jewelry, such as earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets. A lot of what comes in the boxes are exclusive to that box and some of the boxes even have exclusive artwork or exclusive covers. You can always go to their instagram to get a sneak peak at what may be coming in the box for that month. In January’s Litjoy I got a pen the showed the bat signal when you pressed a button. Is there something you’re looking for in a box? Or is there one you’re leaning toward?

I hear ya. Each box typically comes to around 40 when shipping is added or 55 with Fairyloot. The Nerdy post box has different teirs and can be from 17 to 40 depending on what you get. She also provides spoilers on the website so you’ll know if that box is something you really want. That box doesnt come with a book just merch. Also usually the shops have things from previous boxes available so you can just pcik and choose what you want. Book boxes can be expensive its just a matter of how much do want one and the stuff that comes with it. Sometimes you get a box and hate everything in it or wont use anything in it
