Oh! If you aren’t adverse to a juvenile book, The Westing Game. It’s for an MG audience but Raskin writes completely delightful puzzle mysteries
I read this in 8th grade. That was 25 years ago. I really, really want to read it again!
It holds up! I just reread it last year, in my thirties, and was pleasantly surprised
