Having just finished The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, (only my second Christie book,) I wondered which was your favourite?

The ABC Murders xx
@Louise I have this on the shelf in my library! ?
Mine too. It’s one of the few of her books that I couldn’t guess who the murderer was.
Did you guess the murderer in Murder on the Orient Express ?
@Gerry No! That was near impossible. Excellent plot.
ONLY YOUR SECOND??? Oh my!! I’ve been reading AC since I was twelve years old! Haha! I love so many of them it’s difficult to make a choice. The Mysterious Affair at Styles is a great one (her first!) and The Hollow, Dead Man’s Folly, Cards on the Table.. these are all Poirot books. Love Tommy & Tuppence too, their first book is The Secret Adversary. Endless Night is also a remarkable one. And then there are Miss Marple books haha.. so many before you to read still! Happy reading! x
Goodness only know how I’ve only just started! They are entirely my kind of book and I loved the TV series’ growing up. X
I’ve never read any
4.50 from Paddington x
That was the first one I ever read.
Me too !!! , to be fair I love them all ! xxx
I’ve read them all over the years. Some brilliant, some good and some so-so.
I have read all of her books several times ? my favorites are And Then There Were None, Dead Man’s Folly, A Murder is Announced and The Mousetrap.
‘Endless Night’ is the one that overcame any prejudice I had that she was twee and cosy. Have read many since. The title is taken from William Blake: “Every Night & every Morn
Some to Misery are Born
Every Morn and every Night
Some are Born to sweet delight
Some are Born to sweet delight
Some are Born to Endless Night”
Death on the Nile
Loved most of them possibly Murder on the Orient Express, The Body in the Library and Evil under the Sun
Crooked House
All the Miss Marples
I’ve not read any ?
I’ve only read then there were none… this year
Many of them are psyc.hological
‘And then there were none’ is my favourite. …I’ve read most of her books ?
