Actually I was lucky enough to have read my first biography not that long ago and wondered about the main character and her best friends in the book. Lucky for me it was an author requested review and I was able to inquire about them after I finished to find out that they were all very much still in touch. It was like closure that I had to have LOL.

I was reading a novel in which the teenaged main character, Theo Decker, loses his mother. That tragedy sets in motion a series of other losses and heartbreaks for him. I had to keep telling myself, “You don’t have to worry about him. Theo Decker isn’t real!” Now I occasionally find myself thinking, “Gosh, I really hope Theo’s life has improved and that he’s happy.” And then I’m back to, “Theo Decker isn’t real. Theo Decker isn’t real.” ?

Yes. I cannot find out what happened to the author Ann Purser who wrote the Lois Meade mysteries. The books just stopped being published and I’ve always wondered what happened to Lois.

Yes,many times. I have often wondered, for example, how the character of Angle Clare in Tess of the D’urbervilles lived out the rest of his life.

Amelia Peabody is so real to me it’s scary! Author is Elizabeth Peters (Barbara Mertz) she passed away but did fish the 20 something books in the series. Even Nancy Drew when I was growing up 🙂
