Have you ever been just so unbelievably disappointed in a books ending that you wanted to scream? Yeah, I just went through that the other night.

Yeah, I just went through that the other night.
Only once or twice, thank goodness! Are you willing to share which book it was?
It was a series. The Kricket Series by Amy Bartol.
Too many loose ends, she needs to write a 4th book but has already said she either has to wait for her publisher to want it, or publish it herself…..which could take a while

A Reliable Wife. I wanted to throat punch like 4 characters at the end.
I love that you said throat punch hahahaha my best friend says that all the time
I’m not a violent person. But that book sailed across a room… okay, hurtled. I was angry.
Ian McEwan was the other one. I read one book, then walked to my library shelves and abruptly removed all 7 of his I had purchased. Gone. Based on one book.
When I say throat punch, it’s serious! Lmao!
@Tara I’ve tried McEwen twice…but no more! Borrowed Atonement and The Children Act from the library, returned them both unfinished.
I read On Chesil Beach.
Dont get me wrong, this series was AMAZING! But the end of the 3rd book made me want to scream. I think im going to start a letter writing campaign to the publisher to get that last book
Do it! I’m sure you could get fans behind you!
I think im going too. A BUNCH of us in her book group want another book, it just makes sense for there to be a 4th
I actually threw a book in the trash because I couldn’t imagine giving it to someone else. The whole book was awful, not just the ending. Can’t remember the name of it though!
Too many times
