@Dean yes, I liked it a lot. Sandra Bullock was really good and I liked the actor who played Tom too. John Malkovich is always good.

@Dean the ending of the book is different from the movie. In the movie, they said the birds were there to warn the sighted people.

We saw it last night. It was a bit too scary and morbid for us. But we thought it was well done and very watchable. Sandra Bullock was awesome in our opinion

Started it, but had to stop when my wildlings woke up. It’s not as bad as I anticipated from the previews. It’s pretty decent, actually (book is still way better lol)

Yes and I enjoyed it. Not as much as the book. As a bookworm, I tried really hard to separate the book and movie, but it’s hard to do. I love that they chose Sandra Bullock. And, Tom and the kids’ were very likeable characters.

I’m going to watch it tomorrow. I just finished binging the “Get Shorty” series on Epix (1sr season on Netflix) and It’s terrific – departs in certain aspects (our “hero” is Irish – a very appealing Chris O’Dowd) and he works for an ultra-tough, hard cartel affiliated woman who owns a casino. He is sent to Hollywood to collect a debt. From there, though the details have changed, Leonard’s worldview, sense of deadpan sense of humor and his portrait of Hollywood, are all definitely intact.
