Its awesome! But I would start with the assassin’s blade first because it helps a lot and gives you more of the main character’s background! ? nonetheless if you do read it enjoy!
@Loni the assassin’s blade is a bind up of novellas that takes place before throne of glass. Just one single book. ? is basically 0.5 or I like to think of it as the book 1 lol because I always read it before Throne of glass. Is about the main character Celeana. It shows why she ends up where she’s at in throne of glass. So just background information that you need for the rest of the series.
I love the series. The second book in the series is still hands done one of the best written fantasy novels ever in my opinion. The entire series as a whole is fantastic, and I can’t recommend them enough. It’s even better for you considering the series is done, and you’d be able to read them all in one go without having to wait in between. READ IT! 😀
It’s really good. Definitely take your time and read other books in between because it can burn you out with all the info and characters introduced but it’s worth the time!
I tried to read it. Couldn’t get into it. Then decided to try Assassins Blade first, and after, I couldn’t read Throne of Glass fast enough! Love this series so much!
Throne of glass wasn’t that good, I had a lot of problems with it, but it was ok. But the second book was already better, and oh man, the third one, heir of fire, is my favourite so far! ? So it defenitely gets better ?
I loved it for the first three books, then book four was perhaps the most disappointed I’ve ever been with a book…I might still read the last few just to see how it winds up but I’m really not in any rush
It wasn’t really for me. I think I’m just not made for Sarah J Maas books. You should try it. It’s a really popular series. It might just be for you too 🙂
It seems to be either you love it or you hate it. its one of those. not too many people are in between on it. however as a bibliophile/book lover/booktuber i can tell you that no book, no matter how much you hate it is truly ever a waste of time. if nothing else it helps you gain experience (if you hate it) of getting better at picking out what you will like/wont like and if you love it, well then you’ve gained possibly a new favourite and had an enjoyable experience. the only way to know is to try it! if you dont want to buy it then get it from your local library. if you do buy it and decide you do not want to keep it (I personally have multiple copies of books i like, some for reading, some for annotating and 1 copy of books i don’t like for annotating) you can always donate it to a local library. its a new and quite popular series so if they dont already have it they can add it and if they do they can always sell it or give it back to you so you can sell it and get some of your money back. im saying go for it! try it and find out! you have options.
It was a bit different to me. I read it and the next in the series and then other books jumped ahead. I told myself I’d go back but haven’t yet
It’s my favorite!!
It’s absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. It gets better in the third book.

Throne of Glass, I think, is the book that can totally beat Harry Potter.
It’s incredible. If you do read assassins blade first the writing will be different in throne of glass. But the story is still amazing none the less ?

I LOVED this series and I am usually a really picky reader.
I enjoyed the series although I kind of hated the first book.

I just binged it 2 weeks ago and it was incredible. Definitely slow at the start but it picks up and gets intense
