Once you got past the first few chapters it really picked up. The conversations with her husband and child blew me away!

Perfect example of a book I read recently and forgot about because I read so much. I was just going to Amazon to try a sample and see it’s in my library 🙂 And now I remember — it was excellent. Really enjoyed it.

I couldn’t put it down either! However, it is so similar to other plots in recent works of popular fiction. If it weren’t for Finn’s ability to tell the story, I think I might be saying, “I’ve read this before…”

Actually, I posted the opposite opinion. A lot of hype for what I thought was incredibly slow pacing and an obvious conclusion. Nothing original in the story. I was really bored and had to push myself to finish.

I read it and enjoyed it, recommended it to two friends who loved it. Not a genre that I usually read but it was a quick read and an interesting diversion.
