Perfect example of a book I read recently and forgot about because I read so much. I was just going to Amazon to try a sample and see it’s in my library 🙂 And now I remember — it was excellent. Really enjoyed it.
I couldn’t put it down either! However, it is so similar to other plots in recent works of popular fiction. If it weren’t for Finn’s ability to tell the story, I think I might be saying, “I’ve read this before…”
Even if it was similar to some books recently I thought the movies gave this an interesting twist…and made me want to check some of those old movies out!
I’m reading it based on a lot of recommendations including yours. I purposely didn’t read summary so I have no idea what it’s about and I’m glad because I’m enjoying the journey
Actually, I posted the opposite opinion. A lot of hype for what I thought was incredibly slow pacing and an obvious conclusion. Nothing original in the story. I was really bored and had to push myself to finish.
I read it and enjoyed it, recommended it to two friends who loved it. Not a genre that I usually read but it was a quick read and an interesting diversion.

Once you got past the first few chapters it really picked up. The conversations with her husband and child blew me away!
Yes! That was our book club read for last month. We gave it 12 thumbs up!
